What Was Your Favorite Toy Growing Up? (Mine Was Forts!)
Share
Do you remember your favorite toy as a kid?
Maybe it was something that lit up or made noise. Maybe it came in a shiny box, or maybe — just maybe — it was something as simple as a blanket over two chairs, a cardboard box, or a couch cushion castle.
For my brother and I, it was the play fort.
There was nothing like building a secret hideout with your own two hands. Whether it was in the living room, the backyard, or under the kitchen table, a fort for kids could become anything — a pirate ship, a jungle cave, a royal castle, a rocket blasting off to the moon.
Children’s play forts weren’t just fun — they were a spark for imagination. They brought friends and siblings together, turned rainy days into grand adventures, and gave us a space that felt entirely ours.
At Kidz Forts, we believe every child deserves that kind of play — the kind that’s powered by creative toys, curiosity, and cardboard (lots of strong cardboard!). 😊
So now, we want to hear from you:
👉 What was your favorite toy growing up?
Was it a fort like me? A collection of action figures, a trusty doll, building blocks, or something completely unique?
Share your favorite memory in the comments — we’d love to hear how you played.
Because the best toys aren’t just things. They’re the ones that helped us dream.
