Not at all. These fort kits were specifically designed with heavyweight liners and corrugating medium for maximum strength, durability, and printability. If you compare our panels to a regular cardboard box, you will quickly realize the difference.

Kids as young as 3 years old really enjoy playing with the fort kits. Mom or dad will need to help them build the forts. By ages 5-7, kids start to enjoy building the forts on their own. At ages 8+ their designs will also start getting really elaborate and creative, utilizing more than one fort building kit. As they get older, your kids will also enjoy playing using the fort kits as Nerf gun barricades and shelters too.

Simple forts can take just a few minutes to build. More complex forts can take 30 minutes or so. But there's no hurry. Part of the fun with these fort kits is the time spent designing and building them!

These fort building kits are meant for repeated use and building over and over again. They will stand up to repeated assembly and disassembly.

Absolutely—our fort kits are designed so only one person is needed to build them. However, kids love building them together. You'll be amazed to see how kids that usually fight and argue actually work together and collaborate while building a fort.

Each fort kit contains 20 panels, 66 connectors, a set up instruction sheet, and carry case to neatly and easily store the kits when not in use.

If you must need a few more panels to build your dream fort, you can purchase fort panels individually. Or, you can infinitely expand your fort creations by purchasing additional kits. You can combine any of our kits each other, and you can even build them "inside out", if your kids want to draw or color on the blank side of the panels. Additional fort kits are a great holiday or birthday suggestion for grandparents.

No. The kits are intended for indoor enjoyment or outside play in dry conditions. They are not water-proof or water-resistant.

Absolutely. .The forts can be built on hardwood floors, tile, or carpet. Building them on carpeting or an area rug is best, as it gives the bottom of the forts a bit more friction and resistance to
sliding outward.
